Golf Fort Lauderdale for the Ultimate South Florida Golf Vacation

Scenic views and a warm year-round climate have long made South Florida one of the premier golfing destinations in the country, and the Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach Resort Hotel gets you right on the links.

With ten highly-lauded courses less than five miles from our waterfront hotel and many Fort Lauderdale golf courses just a few miles further, Hollywood, FL is proud to offer a vast array of course designs and challenge levels to any visiting golfer. Don’t be suckered in by overpriced resort courses! Here at Crowne Plaza our mission is to get you to a course that you can love and afford.

Thanks to the vast diversity of golf destinations right down the street from our Hollywood, FL hotel, this won’t be hard.

Hollywood Beach Country Club & Golf Resort  •  2.5 miles
1650 Johnson St, (954) 927-1751, Hollywood, FL
The Hollywood Beach Country Club and Golf Resort is a championship, par-70 Hollywood Beach golf course designed by Donald Ross in 1924. The beautiful 110 acre golf course is one of the select South Florida golf facilities that offer a pure golf experience without the intrusive view of homes abutting any of our fairways, tees, or greens.

Presidential Country Club •  3.7 miles
19600 Presidential Way, (305) 935-7500, Miami, FL
During your Fort Lauderdale golf vacation, stop by The Presidential Country Club, recently redesigned by Tommy Fazio, the nephew of famed architect Tom Fazio. This is a tight golf course with a good layout and a good price point for the area. The course has rolling fairways and contoured, well-bunkered greens that require shot accuracy. The fairways are fairly tight with either new homes or oak hammocks on either side. With four tee boxes to select from, this championship course is playable for all handicaps, with a number of forced carries if you play from the back. Water is in play on almost every hole.
Hollywood, FL proudly offers a vast array of golf courses

Hillcrest Country Club •  5.2 miles
4600 Hillcrest Dr, Hollywood, FL 33021, (954)983-3142
This club has an eighteen hole course and a nine hole course. The signature hole on the Championship Course is #9, a 421-yard, par 4, which requires an approach shot to an island green. The fairways are open and lush, and the greens are large and slightly undulating. The Executive Course is small and somewhat demanding at times. The fairways are generous, and the greens are small and well bunkered. North Course At Hillcrest Golf Club is a Semi-Private golf facility, with a guest policy of "Open"

Club At Emerald Hills  •  5.6 miles
(954) 961-4000, 4100 N Hills Dr, Hollywood, FL
Golf South Florida in style at The Club at Emerald Hills, among the best For Lauderdale area golf courses. As the host site for the Doral and The Honda Qualifier's for the past ten years, it has been selected as one of the host sites for the US Amateur Qualifier and U.S. Mid Amateur Qualifier. The Club at Emerald Hills displays a harmonious blend of undulating greens, contoured traps and hills, all meticulously maintained to guarantee you a great golfing challenge. Emerald Hills has been recognized by the "Golf Digest Places to Play" publication for the past 10 years, and has been recognized as "One of the Nations Top Golf Clubs" rated "Excellent" as voted by Players in "America's Top golf Courses" by ESPN and Zagat Survey 2004.

Greynolds Golf Course  •  6.5 miles
(305) 949-1741, 17530 W Dixie Hwy, Miami, FL
Greynolds Golf Course provides a 3,100-yard challenging layout. This par-36 course, designed by Mark Mahannah in 1964, is one of the county's most popular nine-hole designs for all levels of play. The course offers electric carts, reasonable green fees, and club rentals.

Normandy Shores  •  10.8 miles
2401 Biarritz Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33141, (305)868-6502
The Normandy Shores Golf Course features several dogleg fairways, and water hazards come into play on fourteen holes. Playing this course previously is a real advantage. Many of the water hazards are hidden from view and you don't realize they are there until you're in them. Mark Mahannah redesigned this course in the 1950's. Walking is restricted to weekdays and late afternoons on weekends.
